UK Snakehead, terror alert: high!

UK Snakehead, terror alert: high!

A snakehead was caught by a fisherman in the UK yesterday. The press sensationalized it. Yes snakeheads are nasry fish, no, they're not going to, pirana-like, eat people. In fact, people eat them in the wild and they're no more dangerous or nasty than a pike.

No, they shouldn't be in the UK waterways - that's a seriosuly bad thing, but for heavens sake don't get caught up in some kind of hysteria about "giant" snakeheads - the one caught was three pounds.
